Melissa began her early childhood journey in New York where she was a nanny for a trilingual French family with two beautiful children who spoke French, English, and Spanish. Melissa did move on to working in retail where she became a night manager, but she always knew that her passion was to work with children. "Little people melt my heart when I hear "Buenas Dias, Miss Melissa!" She loves working win childcare.

Melissa was born in Ecuador. She is the fifth daughter, and her parents have been married for 42 years! She, herself is a mother to two beautiful children, a boy and a girl. Her family is very close, and Mellssa has helped care for her eight nieces and nephews. She has been around babies and children her entire life.

Melissa enjoys dancing, spending time with her two children and parents, and spending time with friends. She is the proud Mom of a BMX racer and loves attending his races. Her daughter also loves to dance, especially to songs by her favorite singer, Karol G!

Melissa plans to continue to work as a teacher and increase her knowledge in the profession. She loves being a preschool teacher and bringing the Spanish language into the classroom. She plans to go to school to become a Spanish teacher so she can teach more children her beautiful first language.
