Charlene has worked in the school system and childcare fields since 2010. She began her career in teaching as a substitute teacher in the Torrington Public School system as she worked on her master's degree in education. After receiving her degree, Charlene started working as a preschool teacher in 2016. She also holds an associate's degree in human services and a bachelor's degree in social science.  

Charlene is a mother of three children, two girls and a boy and has a loving fiance. They love to spend time together as a family and go to amusement parks, kayaking, swimming, walks, and bike rides. They also love to spend time with family and friends.

In her spare time, Charlene loves to read, take walks, garden, and just slow down and enjoy life as she spends time with her loved ones.

Her goals and passions are to work as a life coach and own her own business, while shaping little minds as she helps them grow and learn to become decent little human beings.
